Title: How can Christians Divorce
Question:
I am a 30 year old woman who last year was divorced by my husband. He was practicing adultery and left me for another woman. In our religion divorce is strictly preached against. I have met a fine Christian man but in reading scripture and study the two of us don't think we can marry. What is your thought?
Answer:
Divorce is a major issue for some religions. Some of the current research indicates that conservative Christians and Jews are divorcing at the same rate as the general population though and this creates a major problem. I have found an excellent web site at called The Broken Circle which helps Christians deal with the issue of divorce. I urge you to study and read as much as you can on this issue. I also urge you to find a religious counselor who can help you find a way to get back to a family and a peaceful life. For in my belief, that is what life is all about.
