Title: Can I wire tap my home to find out if my husband is having an affair?

I am interested in finding out if my husband is having an affair. I would
like to find bugging devices. I am not interested in paying a Private
Investigator to sit in a parking lot for hours at my expense. How do I go
about that??

You need to check the laws of your area if it is legal. You can indeed find
recording devices on the internet at sites like
http://ksc.goldsite.com/Advanced/telephone.html or even by just going to
your local Radio Shack (http://www.radioshack.com/). The bigger question
is why would you want to?
It is guaranteed that the information will either make you feel bad or the action of doing this will cause you some guilt. It is better to be more direct and ask him. If he denies it, watch his behavior. It is impossible to live a double life very long and the person will either get straight with you or confess that they are in another relationship. I would think that your situation indicates a need for marital therapy. Tell him you want to see a counselor with him and talk this out with the help of a professional.
