Ask the Divorced Woman!
by Maria Costa
Title: 46 and Scared
Question:
I was hoping to find online something that would be helpful for a 46 yr.
old woman that basically stayed home to raise the kiddies instead of
getting a degree and having a career. I make less than 10,000 a yr. and
am rather attached to eating-not sure the two will work out.
Emotionally, I'm at a big fat 0, as this man took my best friend of 11
yrs. at the same time he took my faith in him. Any place for me online?
Answer:
Hello there fellow 46er!!
I just turned 46 and I think it is a great time to live nowadays! Are
you going to just sit and let your spouse and best friend do you in????
I am sorry that you got hit with a double whammy - but I want you to see
what is available to you so that you can get that degree that you
probably wanted many years ago!
How about your kids are they supporting you? Did you get any alimony?
Is the divorce final? You are entitled to a lot of finances (retirement
money)! What did your lawyer tell you?????
Pick up my book "When the Vows Break: Living Through Separation &
Divorce" it will help you with the above questions plus how to join
support groups which you need to do! If you can't find it in your local
bookstore call my toll free number 888-267-3929 PIN #7176.
