Ask the Divorced Woman!

Title: I need help - I want to leave my triplets!!!
Question:
I am a woman , married, with three 16 year old kids at home..I want to move
to Washington state.....I want to leave the kids here with there father..I
live in Michigan. I have been married 25 years. I want a divorce. I will be
moving with an other man. What kind of things do I have to look for that
this might cause some trouble with my kids not being able to see them..Also
does it make me not eligible for Alimony, property settlements, . If we
agree on he pays no alimony, can I ask not to pay child support?
What will it mean if I just up and pack up and move to
Washington, and leave him with everything....Deserting the family what does
it mean for me as a mother and spouse?
Answer:
I found your letter very disturbing and it really made me angry
especially as a mother. I am really getting tired of hearing stories
like yours. I am tired of being a parent so I want to disregard my
responsibilities as a parent and go live with someone else. Are you
going to be able to deal with the guilt?
Our children don't ask to be born, and once we have them it IS our
responsibility to raise and love them and guide them to a happy start to
their adult life!! As parents that is our jobs!!
You wanted to know what this means to you as a mother - do you honestly
want an answer?
Will this affect your 3 sons? They will be affected for the rest of
their lives. They will feel worthless, recycled, won't trust women, will
have animosity towards women and will feel abandoned - just to name a
few repercussions from your actions.
Moms and dads are never suppose to stop loving their kids and when we
leave our children that in reality is the message we are sending them.
I strongly recommend that you and your whole family go for some
counseling.
Pick up my book "When the Vows Break: Living Through Separation &
