Many women who are in situations of domestic violence want someone to talk to. Here are several of toll-free options:

- The Battered Women’s Justice Project at 1-800-903-0111.

- The Family Violence Prevention Fund has the Health Resource Center on Domestic Violence at 1-800-313-1310.

- The National Council of Juvenile and Family Court Judges provides a service called the Resource Center on Child Protection and Custody at 1-800-527-3223, which provides information and assistance on child protection and custody issues.

-The National Domestic Violence Hotline is available at 1-800-799-SAFE (7233). The NDVH has a TDD service for the deaf and hearing impaired at 1-800-787-3224.
