I was granted a RO for a year against my ex. We have visitation pick up and drop off at the police station, per his request. The first pick up was fine, other than him being 20 minutes late. The officer said he could be closer than 50 yds to me as long as he (the officer) was there. This morning, at the station, he pulled up, got out and started putting the kids in my car with no officer. I told the kids to wait for the officer next time and my ex mumbled, but certainly loud enough for me to hear, "Oh give me a f***ing break." We live in MA. There was no officer present...is it a violation?

Technically, he was. Where was the officer? Would I make a big deal about it? No. But I would make it clear that the next time, he needs to wait until the officer is present.
If he wanted a break, then he shouldn't have done what he did that got the RO in place.

Funny , none of your previous posts mention a RO . I think your ex wants to meet at a police station because he doesn't trust YOU .

Regretfully, in a forum like this, we never get to hear the other side of the story. It is unusual for a person that has a RO on them to request to meet at a police station, but in another post, the OP wanted to know if they could be charged with something if they denied parenting time, as their 10 year old didn't want to go. I suspect the NCP's request for meeting at a police station is to enforce parenting time. But, who knows....

There is ALWAYS two sides!!!
My stbx told all our old neighbors that I was totally brainwashing our child and in court even tried to bring up "parental alienation" (of course, without doing the research on it!!) and when our attys were trying to negotiate p/u and drop/off, HE suggested the police station!
I agreed because I know quite a few of the officers!!!
But in the end, the court gave me sole custody and HE lost all visitation!!!
Our child just did not want to be alone w/him and the courts finally saw thru his lies and stories because of HIS actions!

Ok - back to the issue.
Next time - you need to wait inside the police station until he arrives and you have an officer.
If it was a criminal restraining order, then yes, but you have to file a complaint.
