mental and verbal abuse on agreement, remove?

My separation papers went out to my husband and the lawyer had put "verbal and mental abuse" as one of the things against him. I never said he was, is this standard in divorce/separation? I did notice it before I signed the papers, and almost asked to get it changed, but thought it was "standard" in these cases so I let it go. Hubby is very upset about this. Can I get it removed or something? I can't talk to my lawyer until nexst Friday. Thanks

No, it is not standard, and if it isn't true, then it is a lie.

So can it be removed... or stricken from the record or something?

You shouldn't sign legal papers that make false accusations. Your lawyer better have a good explanation for including this language (I predict copy-paste error will be the excuse).

Well I figured something like that. I'm sure most cases have that written in it. I'm just hoping it can be fixed. I wasn't thinking clearly at the time, and my lawyer wasn't there when I signed, so I didn't get to ask questions really. I just figured it was "standard divorce stuff". So I just want it removed, deleted, whatever because my stbxh is going to have a field day with that one. (He already said so.)
