my husband and i have only been married 2 years, and getting divorced. we are young and dont have a ton of anything to split, except the house. he bought it when we were only dating and lived there a year w/o me, so his is the only name on the title. so what does that mean for me? i have been helping to pay on it for the 2 years of marriage. from my reading, it doesnt sound like "community property" b/c it was acquired before our marriage. i also just found out i am 2 months pregnant. does this mean the baby and i just get kicked to the curb since my name isnt on the title? im not sure how all of this works. anything would help! thanks
