That's what I thought. Someone asked me about it tonight at a scouting event and it sounded like it was a done deal. I wouldn't put it past her to try and do it somehow.

No, she probably hasn't done it legally, but is registering him at school, etc. under her married name. I've seen that happen before.

You can check school records. Bring a copy of your divorce decree showing that you have a right to see the records.
If she has changed it, simply put a letter to the school asking that it be amended. Send a certified letter to all caregivers, doctors adn then her.
Yes - it will confuse them, but I don't know what else she can do besides that. Anyone out there see a danger in changing the last name?
