I've got one left. The other two made it to 20. Do they still count if they act like teenagers at times?

I only have one 13 year old girl who thinks she is going on 30 and I can't tell what is divorce issue and what is just teen attitude that needs to be reined in.

I think that is just typical teen behavior. My stepdaughter is 14 going on 30 (and looking like 16). Girls are almost always just in a huge hurry to grow up.

son is 14..... he knows the benefits of being a "kid" Unfortunately he is getting bombarded with descions and life actions that should be left up to the adults in his life.

I've got two teenagers, E (girl) is 15 and N (boy) is 13.
I can't believe that I'm soon going to have a 2nd one in diapers too...
E for the past 2 1/2 years has been going through the "I want everything pierced and want to look like a punk" stage...I was pretty lenient at first since she was a straight A honors student, but that went down hill pretty quickly. I can't blame it completely on the friends she choose but I believe that had a lot to do with it. I constantly tell her that when she is 18 she can pierce or tattoo whatever she wants but in the meantime, my house equals my rules and the gothic clothing and piercings are the first to go when her grades start to suffer.
N is girl crazy lately. He actually got straight A's all year long but I can see as he enters high school I'll have to keep my ears and eyes open and make sure he puts some effort into his schoolwork too. He's started with the teenager attitude issues. My house seems to be full of that lately!

Somebody told me a while ago when I laughed about his son being 16 and dating..."I only have one penis to worry about, you have a daughter so you have 'every other boys' penis to worry about."

Great!!! I have two boys AND 3 girls so I get to worry about all the penises in a 50 mile radius... like I needed something else to worry about.

I have 2 current teens (16 and 15) and a 12 yo on the cusp. They are giving me fits, as I have shared here. My son is really making my life miserable, but I'm slowly winning the battle.
Yes, it is very difficult to tell which issues are "divorce" issues and which are normal (if there is such a thing) teen issues. Discussing them here is a good idea.
