Hi- i'm here for my sister, who lives in Il. She is seperated from her husband of three years. He has been mentally abusive to her. Today he wanted their son for Thanksgiving and she met him half way. He tried to get her to sign a paper stating that their son's permanent residence is the dads house. she didn't sign. She went to leave and he started acting nice and she let him take their son. The soon to be ex told my sis that he was taking the son, she was not to come to his house (which they both own) again. What can she do? Call police? She's been working with a pro-bono lawyer, but it's not going well. Please help!

Honestly, women do this all the time to men. He's just doing it to stay ahead of her in the court battle to come. He has a nice head start. Relax, I'm sure he will agree to a join custody order. Which is more than generous in this case.
