Divorce Support Forums: Please Help

Hi There,

I have been married for less than 2 years. My husband owns a home and I lived in an apartment. My husband moved in with me 7 months prior to our wedding and we are still here. We decided over one year ago to rebuild his home to make it our dream house. Construction takes a long time so the work is still going on. I have been paying all the bills, the rent, the cable, Nstar, the electric, and buying the food. My husband has been paying the house related expenses. He makes more than twice what I make. I have asked him several times to put my name on the deed to show my contributions to this house and he won't. Now that it looks like a divorce is on the horizon will I be able to be reimbursed for only his share of the expenses I have doled out for the last 2 years? I don't want the house, I don't want a bad divorce, I am only after his portion of the expenses that I have been covering while he readied the house. I am not going to live in the house so shouldn't I be able to retreive my money? Thank you so much.
