Sorry for the length of this post but we are in a quandry! Eldest son (age 27), returned from Iraq a few years ago. Married just over a year. Wife with 2 toddlers from previous marriage. They are expecting their first together August 1st. She has up and ran off..not the first time she has acted this way. Basically carted her kids off to her parents (in another state) and left our son and would be gone for weeks on end with no explanation. Left him sicker than a dog with the flu, lying on the floor. Took away the cell phone (they have no other communication) and he could not call, too ill to even crawl outside.. pretty low huh? He has had enough and he wants out. He basically has no money and does not know what to do? Is there any type of legal aid that could help him? Can he file for divorce while she is still pregnant? He wants full physical custody of the child as she has proven to be flightier than all get out (as evidenced with the two younger kids ages 2 and 3)... not a real stable environment. If anyone has any info that would help out please post away!!

Don't let the pregnancy keep him from filing for divorce. They probably will have to wait for the child to be born before finalizing the divorce but filing will help protect his parental rights and it is not an expensive nor complicated thing to do.
