I have recently been informed my youngest daughter, living with her Mother in Maryland, is pregnant. She is a 17 year old single HS Senior. Her older sister informed me, not her mother, The mother has poisoned her against me.
My question is....My insurance will not cover the pregnancy of a minor, My legal obligations end in July of 2008, Can I be held financially responsible for the costs incurred due to this pregnancy? I do not even know the father, my ex has seen to this.
Once she turns 18, you and her mother are probably both legally off the hook. Most parents go beyond what's legally required. Pardon me for saying so but it sounds like your daughter is not the only one who has been poisoned.
