That's also my question! ( You mean the Veterans Administration when you say VA, right?) My stbx recieves disability/retirement checks from the state of Md. and I'm wondering if I'm entitled to part of that too?
You have to be more concise . Which state will have jurisdiction , Alabama or Georgia ? You have to be a resident of one or the other to file for divorce there . Are the disability payments military disabilty retirement or Veterans Admin. disabilty comp. or another form of disabilty ?
