can i get the house

my husband made sure he purchased the home in his name only just before we married. he want to rule everything. now i,m totally unhappy and want a divorce after a year of marriage. we have two small kids, I do not work due to caring for our kids. can I keep the house when i divorce

Typically, you would be entitled to 1/2 the value it increased during the marriage. After 1 year...it probably isn't much, or if you lived in my area, it would be worth about 3% less. You would also have to pay him whatever downpayment he made.
