Hopelessly helpless

I have been married for over 24 years. I have only worked for about a year of that time outside the home. We are going to try to do a disillusion. We only owe on our current mortgage for 13 years. Is it true that my husband will get the house because I don't have a job to refinance? And is there no way to just get one or the other name off the current mortgage without refinancing?

you will get 1/2 the equity of the home. plus you should get alimony
