Ok here is the just of it... I was divorce over 20 years ago... my ex- mailed me a paper to sign I did and got a call later saying we are divorce... I never got paper work.. I dont even know where he was... Well I got married been married for 17 years... my hubby died and I am now eligeble for death benefits. but Workmens comp wont let me have it cause I cant get divorce papers... Is there anyway i can get some kind of papers from the courts saying I am divorce since i have not seen him for 20 years....
ps i forgot to say that the paper he did send me to sign was divorce papers but I never recieve the final court papers and he remarried after he told me it was finalize.. He would not tell me were the papers are. But i do know we were divorce cause his mom paid for it.
