I am new to this forum and just starting the divorce process. We just had our CH13 BK confirmation hearing over a month ago. We've talked divorce before, but I just can't deal anymore. No kids, no real est, bonds, etc. (correct me if wrong) Figure I will/can "give" her most everything except few incidentals. We are paying $600. mo for BK; I will volunteer/continue payments (I make $6.00 hr more) but I keep car (only one, she is/has become pretty good w/transit & doesnt drive much, I utilize for getting to/from work 95% of time). Not really many "assets". Probability of 75-80% uncontested. Q's? 1) What about apartment rental agreement? We r both on it. One of us (likely her, but want it to be me..I want to move elsewhere..doubt she can afford rent w/o roommate-would they let her move into smaller apt?) will have to move. Can one of us be removed off lease? 2) Div. really takes 90 days? 3-4k? was told it could be done in 3 weeks if waiver signed and uncontested. True?
Any other advice?

Gee, I don't know. Those questions are controlled by the bankruptcy laws of your state, as interpreted by case law and the subjective opinions of whatever court you may find yourself in.

I would only like to tell you this: Live life one day at a time, and grab as much gusto as you can! Today you may reject sex from an attractive young woman; 50 years from now you may regret that you did!
