You need to talk to a real estate lawyer. My X-husband tried to do the same to me....I won but be careful...

Have either of you filed for divorce yet. If so has there been an agreement on the division of property. My stbx filed a restraining order to have me evicted even though she wasn't living there. I had to hire an atty and have a PI verify that she wasn't living there while I was out. Luckily the judge in the case saw through her manipulation of the system and am now back in my house, as of yesterday. Be careful, and do it by the book.

Happened to me. Forced out of home and away from kids through a completlely fabricated abuse order. Never was any and never would have been any, but was baited into saying something I should not have and have been out of house with only minimal belongings and child visitation for 2 months now. She uses the order just to keep me away because my wife knows I would NEVER turn back willingly on kids without trying anything and evrything possible first. She just has made her mind up. Now wants support. I haven't worked steadily due to depression over this for over 7 months, now am bouncing back and on the right path. She has me shelling out legal fees when we could have just talked about it and waited until financially it was more feasible. My car also broke down. Of course she drives the SUV. Living at my mom's house shelling out legal fees. She refuses to speak to me, but yet wants me to give her money I do not have because of her actions. Believe me, I do everything I can with and for my little ones (6 and 4) when I have them. But now she is hurting?..Maybe then she should have moved out rather than "evict" me from a home we both paid for for the past 8 + years. She has made more money on average (6 0f 8 wedded years). She may be the one one ends up paying ME support. Yes or No?
