Ok perhaps I was a tad b*tchy in my answers sitting here with a burnt lip because I left the chemical on too long. Yep, I got a "mustache".....
I pluck, I shave, I wax, I get nails done, I spend time with hair, make-up.
Men get out of shower and pretty much go, but wonder what takes us so long?
Who wrote the rule that women have to do this? We have the babies, the periods, etc. This is by no means a religious post. Just grumping!
It grows, it is, it shoud stay, eh?

Ang, my STBX once said that if anything ever happened to me, he'd look for a woman with whiskers as that would be his indication of her testosterone levels and sex drive!

well, I don't think women are the only ones. I'll admit that I have to pluck a few stray hairs here and there and I deal daily with the loss of hair on the top of my head. I can't quite figure out why as you get older the places where hair should grow doesn't and it starts to grow in places where it shouldn't.

Geez mfer, That is the same question I was asking myself as I typed that. I was born a blonde, but later in the years, things have darkened. I am not balding (TG), but do have random hairs moving where they shouldn't.
Did I forget to add that I DYE because I can, go redheads!!
Thanks to the men for chiming in, although mfer didn't deter my thought of "it's just not fair" with his few plucks! lol
Smiles on a Friday....

Oh, I have all kinds of faith... in bleaches, dyes, tweezers, razors, and depilatories!
And I giggle at the thought of the STBX having a relationship someday with the big ol' bearded lady that sits in a trailer when the carnival comes to town!

It's purely a cultural thing. Think about it.....painted faces, holes in the ears, enhanced eyleashes....finding them attractive is a learned behavior. This varies greatly around the world. There is group in Africa, where the women wrap their lower lip around a stick much of the time, and eventually, the lip becomes about triple the normal size. This is considered beautiful there, and the men are in a frenzy over the woman with the largest lip. Whereas we might find that strange, they would find our culture just as strange.
Cultural beauty is also subject to change. Look at what is considered beautiful here 100 years ago....it has similarities, but has changed.

Dang, wouldn't botox be a whole lot easier???
(Okay, crawling back into my hole here so that I don't offend Samsung's relevant post .... I've not slept, for whatever reason, and feeling a little punky.)
