I believe in random acts of kindness, helping the man down. Maybe someday it will come back to repay me.
I was walking out of the commisary and car alarms were going off everywhere around my car. This poor cute 80 yr old man had set his alarm off, which set all the cars around his off. He was trying to start his car to stop it, people were just watching, as I got to him, he was struggling out of his car, so bewildered. I just put my hand out for his keys. He gave them to me and I shut his alarm off and in about 5 secs it was quiet. He looked me in the eyes and said thank you. I winked at him and smiled to let him know all was good.
Just a little thing, I felt good for doing a simple thing and just wonder about the other peeps standing there gawking at this poor sweet man. My sons were there, so it was a nice lesson in doing good.
It was a really good family day too, back to preventing!!

All good deeds are never over looked. I truely believe that it will come back to you ten times greater. Being kind helps the sole. If you help someone you can honestly say that you felt good and happy about doing it.

Ditto!  Goodness is just inside you, its not something you have to think about or consider, you are just a nurturer and like to take care of people. It feels good to know you can make a difference no matter how big or small, to that man it was huge.

good for you! It always helps you inside to do good for others. Why not? The whole population of the world didn't hurt us, just the stbx or whatever so it is always good to show yourself that you haven't given up on ALL of human race. haha
