Have to file divorce, Q on alimony

Hi,

I have been married for 1 yr and 2 months now. My wife lived with me for only 9 months and is now living out of country. I want to file for divorce in King County (WA), I dont have any property (even the car I bought was before marriage), no kids, have some $50K savings (mostly from before marriage) and a 401K plan. I make $100K per year. How much spousal maintenance can she get?

I am considering that she will come here to contest the case or will hire an attorney here.

I have to file for divorce and move-on.

Alimony? $0. File where you are at, immediately. Once she lives where she's at long enough, and it varies from state to state (and perhaps country to country), she can file where she's at, and the laws might be different.
