From a woman's perspective, I take birth control pills regularly, and not for birth control. They are prescribed to help manage a painful disease called endometriosis which can be debilitating to women. They can also be prescribed to help with fibroid turmors. I don't have sex. But I've been on the pill for years. It basically keeps me functioning.
