I’m not asking about your bank balance. I just thought I’d ask to see if anyone else has noticed what I’ve noticed. I’m starting to think I might be twice as rich for my loss of marriage problems AND material things.

I dont have even half the money I once had (divorce is very expensive!), but I only need half as much now anyway.

I now have a house that's less than half the size of my old one but it's twice as easy to live in. I now have a job with half the stress of my old one but I get to see my kids twice as much. I now have an income that's still over half what I earned before, but I have a mortgage that's less than a third of what it used to be. (PHEW!!!)

I have NO stress in my life compared to 8 months ago and I am 100 times happier. I am officially half of the couple people knew me as, but I feel more whole as a person. I guess I have half as many friends as I used to, (divorce splits them too), but I have friends who are twice as caring as old ones, including new friends from the forum.

Not so long ago I felt I had lost everything. Now I’m thinking I might have gained something much more valuable. My life back and overall, it's a better life.

Are you rich too? Maybe you're sitting on 'a goldmine' and you just haven't thought about it! Or maybe it just hasn't happened yet. I hope it does for you all.
