I'm getting to the point where I can listen to Elton John again without thinking of my stbx. I can't stomach most love songs, though. I hear one and I start to cry and feel ill.
As for movies, we didn't see eye to eye on most of them. He liked to say that I hated movies (he was/is a movie buff). I don't hate movies...I just don't like movies that suck. LOL
I think I could watch "The Full Monty" without too much pain. I had to drag Mr. Movie-Buff to see that movie when it first came out. He can't stand English movies, but he ended up liking this one.
