What you will be entitled to is at least half of any increase in equity in the home that happened during the marriage. Let's say the house was worth $100,000 when the two of you got married. And it's worht $150,000 now. You would be entitled to at least half of the $50,000. The rest of it is his.

And given the length of your marriage, you probably get that much alimony, either.
