Fists - you might consider counseling to unravel the complex world of what's real vs imaginary fairytale BS. I doubt anyone's life is perfect, but there are MANY folks who have wonderful, fulfilling, loving lives with their spouses. However, you need to go into that relationship with the notion that it will be good, rather than be cynical about everything. Cynicism can ruin a marriage.
