The only way that you could make an argument to do this is if the party who is making more LIED about how much s/he was making during the discovery process.

There is no way of predicting a future increase. Now, if you are aware of a substantial increase, you can file for a modification based on that. But it won't be retroactive, only to the date of filing for modification.
