E called her dad tonight, she hasn't talked to him for about 6 weeks as the last time he called was 2-3 weeks ago and he only spoke to our son for 10 minutes at that time. She was excited cause she got her permit and then she was angry because he hadn't bothered to call her in so long, so she was calling because of both.
He told her he had no excuse.
Then he gave her trivial ones...his nice phone isn't working, so he has to talk on the cheap $40 one...things aren't going well at work and people are being laid off...
Then he states something that has me going "hmmmm", he said that he has stuff going on that he can't talk to her about but that he is depressed. He goes on to discuss that he is only going to see them one time per year and blames me for offering only one week this summer supervised. The stupid thing is that the other court ordered visitation would give him 3 additional visits, so why is he only going to see the kids one time per year?
I have to wonder what it is that he can't mention to our daughter...did he get caught growing weed, possessing it, or get drug tested at work and fail? That would be my first guess based on his lack of trying to get any visitation via court this summer and the mentioning of work not going well while speaking of bringing his attorney to work too, which didn't make any sense to my daughter.
I want to call him and just ask "so are you going to take any visitation time this summer based on the terms I offered or not?"
