There's no such thing of being tricked into signing papers, unless you can prove you are mentally incapacitated. Children usually are best to state in the family home in their own beds. Probably no judge would rule against that. Whatever the status quo is now, is probably how it will be permanently, unless you can prove abuse or neglect.
