About 5 years ago, the state of CA got a law passed through the senate and HR, so that those duped out of CS (and proven by DNA) could stop making payments. At that time there were over 5000! The governor however, vetoed the bill, saying that if passed, the CS agencies would fall far out of collection compliance, and would lose some federal monies. How crazy is that?
