============================================================= I find it rather comical the angry replies from women that assume, simply because a man professes to have lost interest in sex, it somehow implies that he can "no longer keep it up". That's what it always boils down to, hey? The ability to "keep it up". The ONLY THING a woman can say to emasculate a man and justify any actions she may take in the marriage. "He couldn't keep it up." ============================================================ Women feel attacking a man's "masculinity" (and there is nothing more masculine than a man's anatomy, eh?) helps them "level the playing field" as they have no other retort. IOW, it gives them a feeling of empowerment. As the web site I quoted says, "Shaming tactics are emotional devices meant to play on a man’s insecurities and shut down debate. They are meant to elicit sympathy for women and to demonize men who ask hard questions. Most, if not all, shaming tactics are basically ad homimem attacks." |
