This advice may be wrong, but its what I have been told... I am an active duty member. recieve BAh and all, and am paying my estranged husband. When we separated, I was put in the barracks by my command, and still recieving BAH. So as part of our agreement, I paid my soon ex 500. Now that I live in an apartment, I actually have to pay rent. However, I am recieving married BAh but live as single. So as spousal support, until we are divorced, I was advised by and attorney to pay him the difference between the two. Does your husband live in barracks, or on his own? what is his paygrade? how much is he recieving? these are things you need to know... then u can talk to him, or go to an attorney.
