My stbx is an army reservist who is being deployed in Sept. We are in the process of filing for a pro se divorce. Our plan is to get all paperwork filed by end of June. It's an uncontested divorce and we are in agreement with all terms. Marital assets/liabilities will be split 50/50. There are no children or spousal support. We have been married 7 years. Here are my questions:
1) If divorce is not finalized b4 stbx is deployed what are my options for moving forward with divorce? Can I?
2) What are my options for moving forward with the sell of our home with stbx not stationed in the U.S.?
I'm doubtful that stbx will continue to contribute towards upkeep of our home once he is deployed.
Any insight or information the forum can provide is greatly appreciated.
