Mental Cruelty. You want this divorce and he doesn't? Is there any chance that marriage counseling would help? If you really know in your heart it's over and you've made your mind up. Then you can divorce on almost anything here in Mississippi. My wife also wanted a divorce and I didn't. When I thought I was losing my mind I made it so hard on her to get it ,but looking back she did it. We finally after all the begging and pleading agreed on irreconsilible differences. It took over a year and a half, but she was able to do it. Now that I look back I wasn't trying to make it hard on her it was just that I loved her so very much and I couldn't image life without her. It make me a believer. She doesn't know this but honestly I would have changed anything and everthing I ever had done wrong if she would have at the point gave me another chance. I can say that I would have never hurt her or my children ever again.
