In mine, if the other parent has the child just every other weekend, moveaways are not allowed. Regretfully, due to some custodial parents that have purposely moved far away to isolate their child from the other parent, laws have been enacted that making moving difficult, if not impossible. Your best bet is to have your ex agree to the move.
