I am separated from my wife for 10 months now. She left me with primary custody of our 2 boys. She left me for another man, & is even now pregnant with his child. She initially brought up spousal support against me, but I threatened to countersue her for child support and she dropped the charges. Well, the welfare system put her up to it again. The case was seen already at a support conference and the mediator, or whatever he was, deemed the case worthy of going to a hearing, where as she may be entitled to up to $450 a month from me. On the very same day as this conferense I filed the paperwork to countersue for child support. Being that she in fact made the choice to leave for another man & even have his baby, is there any reason I should have to support my family & now hers? |
