Hello, I was wondering what all of you have experience as far as valueing assets when divorcong. Mostly I am thinking about the household type of stuff as compared to cash, real estate, etc. Some examples would be about 15,000 worth of furniture that is almost new and very high quality. And also, some yard things like lawnmowers, snowblowers etc... that are again high quality and almost new and cost about 7000. I have talked to a lawyer once so far just as a "interview" type of thing. His brief advice is the more we can figure out on our own the less expensing it will be and the more favorabley the courts will look upon it. That sounds like good advice, I just need to figure out what is fair to all parties concerned. Thanks for any advice available, DKC |
