You say you files for divorce and it is now three months later. Have you not followed through with it? As a woman, the laws are on your side in most circumstances. Take his threats as just that - threats. He's likely to come out on the short end of things, and perhaps he knows it. If he makes more than you do you can use his money to help you get a lawyer (or, at least, be reimbursed for it later). Get a lawyer now and get the ball rolling. In the meantime, ignore the threats made by your STBX, unless they include bodily harm, etc., then I would get a restraining order filed.
