Re: Anyone ever sue an attorney?

I have a friend that happened to. She didn't sue, but she got a new lawyer and complained to the bar association. I asked her recently what happened with it and they say the old lawyer was ordered to pay her attoreny's fees, not a huge help when there weren't that many fees paid already, but at least it's something.

Your friend might want to contact a new lawyer and explain what's going on, ask for help before agreeing to sign whatever the lawyers she does not trust are asking her to sign. It's not for sure that they're doing wrong by her, but she doesn't trust them so of course she's goign to think they are... she needs a second opinion before she signs and binds herself to this agreement forever.
