"I can see the rules for people who really need the help, but for those who can support themselves but choose to live above their means, it just stinks!! "

MOST people CAN live above their means, if they actually want to and actually apply themselves.

The problem is that our 'system' is set up too much like a welfare system and allows the 'lazier' people to feed off of the ones willing to apply themselves and work.

If we just made everyone support their own self, we'd have a lot less animosity in divorce situations where incomes differ greatly.
