Yeah, I was right New Jersey laws are not that archaic. They consider who has the kid and whether the other person CAN work and all that stuff. Be careful about any lawyer who says he'll automatically get alimony just because he voluntarily earns less and walked away from the marriage. That's kind of nutty.
