The state of MA has a "support" calculator on it's web site. Whoever is the "non-custotial parent" will have to pay the "custotial" parent something. The amount depends on each parents income over the past year and their potential to earn income during the next year. I would advise you to either go on line and read the divorce code in MA or hire a lawyer. Sometimes a couple of grand out of your pocket now will save you several more down the line. Not much help, but that's my ideas |
