bad day

Well my son got suspended from school..2 dys. I phoned his father about the occurence and the only thing he could say was " what do you expect me to do?" I expected for the past 7 months that he and I have been separated/divorced that he would make his children a priority. Evidently, he hasn't. So, I told him Screw You! and Hung up the phone. i AM SO TIRED OF THE HUM-DRUM FROM HIS END. sORRY SO & SO..paying only 1/2 the amount he's supposed to in CS and nothing in AL.
He could at least take time with his children. I hope his selfishness keeps him happy when his children grow up and want nothing to do with him.

I expect he would have said the same thing if you were still married.

Re: bad day

I don't even bother to call my son's father any more about anything having to do with his son. He's not interested, and I'm not interested in arguing. If he would speak to me like a human being, it would be a different story. You're probably going to have to take full responsibility for disciplining your kids and not count on their dad to help. I hope things get better for you.

Re: bad day

Not to hijack this post but who are these @sshole fathers that could care less about their kids? I cherish every minute I have with my daughter. I literally spend every minute with her when I have her.

I couldn’t imagine it any other way.

Re: bad day

Well, mine is the same way and it's all about HIM...if it's convenient to be "Dad" he does...if it's too much work or he isn't getting anything out of it, then he would rather not. He is a narcissist and that explains so much for me and as my children get older they will benefit from knowing that as well. Much older, though. I'm not in any position to be sharing that with them now :)

I don't think I care for your tone. Don't blame all men.
