experts! where do I stand? 20 year marriage,house almost payed for. wife whom i still and always will love has a drinking problem which is periodically under control but I don't want to deal with it anymore.One kid in college so C/S not an issue .I would like to keep my house.I know I have to buy her half and she gets 50% of assets but what about alimony. How does Ga. figure this and is it a life time deal or based # of years married? she works but I make 3X's more and pay all the bills. someone/anyone clue me because I'm running out of air with my head stuck in the sand!
