I am international student (holding a student visa) at the university in Iowa. Last year I got married with my husband in Iowa who was also from the same country. This year we decided to get divorced however we have not opened a case yet. He is now in another country and wants to come back to get his belongings. We have a car but the car is registered to his name. Could he force me to give the car and other belongings to him? What are my rights in this situation.I would really appreciate any response about this as I want to decide on the actions I could take in case he comes here and harass me. Thanks,
