Forms?

Hi all, does anyone know where I can get the forms to file an uncontested, no-fault divorce for Norfolk County? I have repeatedly called the Norfolk Probate and Family Court and left voice mails, but never received a reply. Why can't they just post all of the forms online? Its like they are in bed with the divorce lawyers.
Thank you,
-G

Re: Forms?

If they posted the forms on-line then people would be able to print them out for free. God forbid the government give something away for nothing. Plus, do you actually think a state worker is going to answer the phone...it's not their job.

Usually you can pick up the forms at your local courthouse, for a fee. I'm sure the fees vary from state to state and county to county.

Good Luck!!

Thanks! The harder they make it to get these forms, it seems the more they encourage you to not get a divorce. Some of the ridiculous things I found is that a certain form has be printed on pink paper otherwise its invalid. Oh the wonders of our legal system.

Why am I not surprised to hear that?

This is an old post, I know, but for the sake of anyone else who has this same question, I figured I'd add that the form you need is CJD101A which can be found (along with the other forms you need) here:

Re: Forms?

I met with a mediator this evening who mentioned that getting a divorce in Norfolk County is an annoying process. She said Suffolk and Middlesex Counties are better because they have more resources. Sorry, I realize this isn't a huge help.
