I really need some advice. My wife left in Sept of 2005. After waiting for almost 9 months, I've decided to move on. I am getting a new place. Today she called me and told me that an "assessor" is coming to go through the things I am taking. She is stating that legally I can't take anything until the assessor comes or she will have the cops at my new place of residence.
I haven't gotten a lawyer so I don't kno if this is true or not. Anyone know anything??
