Lifetime Spousal Support

Has anyone changed their spousal support from lifetime to a time limit? I was married for 20 years and I have been paying spousal support for 10 years. I did go back to court after 5 years but it just made the judge mad and I ended paying for her attorney’s fees. Just looking for answers.

Is it written as non-modifiable?

I do not find any where in the papers that it states non-modifiable. It is called permanent spousal maintenance.
